Air pollution assessment and smog
forecasting.
For the understanding of the formation and transport of air
pollution LOTOS-EUROS is a valuable tool. The model results contribute to our
knowledge not only in a qualitative but also more and more in a quantitative
way. I participate in the projects SMOGPROG (ozone forecasting) and BOP
(sources and transport of Particulate Matter). In these projects I contribute
to the development and validation of LOTOS-EUROS.
