Current Research Activities:
Applied research on chemical transport modelling on a regional scale. Coordination of projects funded by the EU (most recently Air4EU) and by the German UBA, on particulate matter and deposition (PAREST-UBA, MAPESI-UBA). Activities to come to a proper, internationally accepted model evaluation framework for chemical transport models. Research into the influence of meteorology on chemical transport modelling, including the interaction between climate change and air quality
